Roller blading - One of the sketchier outdoor activities, or at least when you were first learning as you would end up on your ass, scraping your knees, elbows or smashing your wrists on the concrete trying to stop your fall. That is of course if you didn't have the full protection kit (knee pads, wrist guards etc.)
Minnesota Timberwolves - Power Ranking
All RankingsThe Wolves have had a stinker this year, lets be honest. Davis missed most of the year again and PG was healthy and playing like his usual 2k self, but then decided to cop a massive suspension which saw that story end early too. Sitting on hands is the story in Minny though overall as the team has stagnated a little looking or waiting for that deal that can refresh. Davis' value may never be higher in the rest of his career as it will be this offseason while there' hope he doesn't reinjure again and again, so if you're going to make that move, it might just be coming soon. PG is probably a forced hold, too, but Riley and Fears have come on strong and maybe the team could still push for a playoff berth if the oldies stay healthy and stay on the team, and the kids continue on the improve.

The Hero and the Terror (Terror Edition) - Right now, they’re on the wrong side of that title every time.
Weekend at Bernies - "He's not dead, he's just... resting." Two guys carrying a dead body around a party pretending everything is fine and somehow nobody notices until it's too late. This team has that exact energy. The starters look fine on paper and healthy. On paper. In reality, someone is propping up the starting lineup with sunglasses and a hat, shuffling them through the box score like everything is normal. Nobody is buying it. The points aren't there. The assists aren't there. The blocks aren't there. But they'll be at the pool party. They'll wave hello. And they'll finish 29th with a smile on their face. Trust the process. The process has been resting for three weeks.
The Overcomplicator: On the downswing with no upcoming draft pick, relying on veterans like Anthony Davis and Paul George. It’s a classroom trying to do too much with too little flexibility - overthinking instead of simplifying. Remember the acronym KIS 'Keep it Simple!'
Jimmy for PG/Fears/Brea. This was obviously prior to Jimmy going down for the season. Which look, I'm not about to bring in a parade for the Minny GM having some sort of oracle like prediction powers. But at the end of the day a lot of these deals don't shake out in a positive light without a bit of luck. PG is a glitch in game and the true outcome of this deal will hinge on how Minny navigate his situation. All that aside, Fears looks to be a handy young prospect on the rise and if they had sat on dealing Jimmy it could've been a real disaster.
Running out of toilet paper - not only is this inconvenient it’s a combination of infuriating and funny. Because, depending on your living situation depends what happens next. If fortunate to have a loved one around you can call out, hoping they answer the call like the fires of Gondor being lit and come to aid. If that’s not an option then a shuffle down the hallway with your pants around your ankles to replenish your stock may be required. The Timberwolves aging stars have appeared to have run out of paper this season. Hopefully they can return like a comrade handing you more toilet paper through the barely opened door.
Its been a struggle season for Pat in Minnesota. If you know him like I do, you'll know he hates Vucevic. And yet, he willingly made a trade to bring him in. Some people are just gluttons for pain I guess.
The Revenant (2015) – fighting for survival every game, crawling through the season. They have been through the ringer, and had a difficult time to find their way through the NSL forest. Whether it is the elements, a bear, or even themselves, the Timbs are needing to show grit, and have already moved to find a fix.
I'd rather keep my comments on this private.... :(
School Refuser- Has all the aspirations to turn up on time but just can't take the step out of the car and through the gates. Loves the idea of school but is probably better suited to homeschool as it's all a bit much. Hopefully they can find a strategy that works for them because they have a lot to offer.
Squidward Tentacles - Talented, moody, and often frustrated that things aren’t clicking the way they should. Defensive ability and skill are clearly there, but body language and offensive flow go cold fast. When they’re engaged, they look legit — when they’re not, it’s a slog. Especially when PG and AD are not on or on the court. A wild ride for the Timbs!
Poker Face – Lady Gaga Clever and controlled, it explores strategy and composure. The theme mirrors a team executing tactical plays while masking intentions. In the wave of offers Mindy have received for Davis post injury, the GM is calling the leagues bluff and holding onto his hand
Thrice: The Timberwolves feel like Thrice in their later era veteran-led, battle tested, and still capable of real impact despite the miles. Anthony Davis remains an elite talent, Paul George is still pretty damn good, but age and injuries have made their dominance more situational than constant. Still, there’s substance here: Jonas ValanÄiÅ«nas’ surprising 22ppg and 12rpg production has stabilized the middle, while rookie Jeremiah Fears emerging as a legitimate Rookie of the Year candidate adds fresh energy to an otherwise veteran core. Like Thrice, the Wolves may no longer rely on raw explosiveness, but their evolution, balance, and experience make them far more dangerous than their record might suggest when everything aligns.
Two of Wands: Symbolizes planning, exploring options, and making decisions that shape your future direction. Shay has been in the news this past week. The Wolves are losing, his players are all hurt, but are the bad times about to end? Many have weighed in on what he should be doing to rescue the Wolves. He is playing cards close to his chest and seeing what plays out.
The Timberwolves at 2–7 aren’t shocking — not when Anthony Davis is your franchise anchor and the man can injure himself by thinking too hard.
Childhood Reference: Broken Action Man held together with tape The team keeps it together with Jonas ValanÄiÅ«nas while Anthony Davis sits in the repair shop… again. He's been in the family since the 90s, and you just cannot part with him. He has seen it all and been thrown into a tea party with Barbie, a wrestling match with Mankind, and been shot down by green army soldiers. Does he get the necessary repairs in time?
