Walkman - CD's changed the music game, Then Walkmans changed it even further, being able to listen to your favourite tunes any times or any place. You better make sure that the walkman is held steady or your CD will be skipping all over the place.
LA Clippers - Power Ranking
All RankingsThe Clippers led by Andrew seem to have settled a little at the minute. They made the big move to bring in Hartenstein in the offseason, and it was the right one, honestly, as they needed that big guy next to Paolo and the rest of the budding young stars. The "big" move is yet to be made though and they may need to get onto that to reach that next tier. They've held onto a Play In spot, barely, due to others around them not wanting to win, but this team looks like it should be destined for far more. Maybe next year will be the year, or maybe they garner more interest and strategy through the play in and playoffs if they make it?

The Hitman’s Revenge - Signs of life, but too little, too late most nights.
Forrest Gump - "Life is like a box of chocolates — you never know what you're gonna get." Some weeks you open this roster and get a caramel. Other weeks you get the weird coconut one that nobody wants. Forrest ran across America without a plan and somehow it worked out, this team drafts the opposite, with a plan and somehow its still tbc. There's genuine heart here, genuine effort and a manager who just keeps running. But mama never said it'd be this inconsistent. The shrimp business is struggling. Lieutenant Dan is still in a wheelchair. And the feather is just drifting wherever the wind takes it.
The “We’ll See How It Goes†Teacher: Stacked with talent - Paolo Banchero, Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, Trey Murphy, and VJ Edgecombe, but underperforming badly. The potential is obvious, the execution… not so much. "Have you read the planning?"
Harris/Eason for Hartenstein/J-Rich. Harris is still, a more then serviceable 3/4 that would start on most teams. I love a young guy like Eason and what he brings but obviously his career 'peak' is yet to be seen. Hartenstein is the obvious choice between both ends of this deal, in terms of what you would rather going off how it stands TODAY. It's a shame that he's struggled to stay healthy this season but in game his impact is undeniable. Credit to the Clippers in their patience and ability to build a roster.
No milk - this can lead to an array of problems and solutions. This is definitely inconvenient but especially annoying when it wasn’t you that finished it and didn’t replace it. This could be for your morning coffee that you look forward to or possibly even can’t function without, or it could be for your morning breakfast, being a nice bowl of cereal or hot porridge. You don’t have time to go and get more so you need to come up with a solution. This could be having a back coffee of possible even for the psychos out there, water on your cereal… Clippers have a group of young stars so I don’t think they’re at the desperate stage of having milk on their cereal but maybe will just have a long black or espresso to keep them going.
Clippers have a bright future, but injuries to Paolo and George have limited what still could be a very special season. Hartenstein has been a welcomed return from injury.
Million Dollar Baby (2004) – tough story, tough nights, and they’re taking some hits. Stacked with talent, the Clippers aren't quite clicking. They might need a cranky coach to get through this saga. It's unclear what it looks like - but they'll need to patch up and vasoline to get through the next rounds.
As a man who has inquired about Paolo 100 times, I love the Keyonte George, VJ Edgecomb and Paolo Banchero Trio. A real threat in a couple of years time.
Homeschooled Kid Who Shows Up For Exams- never sighted on campus and no real connections to the school community, he wears hemp clothing when he sits exams on the school premises. Rumours are his grades are good but no one actually knows. His family (8 children) live just out of town on acres of farmland and when not fulfilling duties with the cattle, learn obscure concepts about string theory and flat-earth.
Road Runner - Speed and skill, but somehow caught at the worst times. Great talent, momentum-killing mistakes. Are they coming or going? The Clippers have it all. They have the ability to cause chaos. They have the players that could make them a contender. What isn't working in LA? Meep-Meep!
The Sweet Escape – Gwen Stefani featuring Akon Hopeful and playful, it focuses on recovery and reconciliation. The theme mirrors a team regaining rhythm after mistakes. This GM has the sweet escape/excuse of youth on their side.
Saosin: The Clippers mirror Saosin’s early post-hardcore energy, with youthful intensity, technical skill, and flashes of brilliance that hint at enormous potential. Saosin’s sound combined soaring vocals with intricate guitar work and rapid-fire rhythms, creating music that felt alive and constantly pushing forward. Los Angeles is the youngest team in the league with an average age of 21.9, led by a core of Jalen Williams, Paolo Banchero, Keyonte George, Trey Murphy, and VJ Edgecomb, with Hartenstein standing out as the oldest player at 27. Like Saosin, the Clippers rely on the raw talent and drive of their young core, building a foundation that promises high ceilings and exciting, dynamic performances as their experience grows.
The Hermit: Represents introspection, solitude, and inner guidance. A time to withdraw, reflect, and seek truth. Andrew never seems too high or too low in the NSL, and you wouldn't really know either way. If the Clippers are going to pop, it's coming from in house.
Looking at the Clippers’ roster is like looking at Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating history if you’re over 25, you’re simply not on the list. This whole team is so young that DiCaprio would probably try to sign them to long-term contracts. The Clippers aren’t rebuilding, they’re just following Leo’s strict roster construction philosophy: If they can’t rent a car yet, they’re perfect.
Childhood Reference: The Jenga Tower That’s Somehow Still Standing. Every move feels like disaster is seconds away, but somehow the tower doesn’t fall. Paolo Banchero is the kid carefully nudging pieces out, doing his best to stop the collapse while everyone around him yells, panics, and points fingers. The Clippers are one shaky hand away from greatness… or total structural failure. With all the moving parts to be a collosus in the league, the Clippers have started how they left 24-25. With JDub waiting to enter, the Clippers have a golden chance to be a big-game team in the NSL.
